Getting this fire Sorcerer moving is less about hitting every button at once and more about finding a rhythm. Start with five Firebolts, pull the pack together with Inferno, then Teleport into the fight and summon two Frigid Hydras. From there, work between Firewall and Teleport while building toward fifteen Cauldron stacks. It takes a little practice, especially when an elite is trying to knock you out of position. The right D4 items can help support the setup, but knowing where to stand matters just as much as what you're wearing.
Why Position Matters
Firewall gives this setup its focal point: the Ring of Fire. While you're standing inside it, direct Pyromancy damage adds a powerful damage over time effect. Step outside, and you lose that benefit. It's easy to miss this in a crowded fight, particularly when you're dodging hazards or chasing an enemy that survived the first burst. Try placing Firewall where you expect the pack to gather, not where the enemies happened to be a moment ago. Inferno helps bring them into range, while Teleport gets you back into the flames. The result is a build that can burn through groups quickly, provided you stay aware of the circle.
Keeping the Rotation Going
The two Frigid Hydras do more than add damage. They also support the cooldown reductions that let you use Inferno more often, so keep an eye on them as the fight goes on. If your rhythm falls apart, don't panic and spend every skill as soon as it's ready. Reposition, replace the Hydras when needed, and work back toward those fifteen Cauldron stacks. Against bosses, the same idea applies, although you may need to move the Firewall placement as the target shifts. Staying alive for another rotation beats standing still through an attack you could have avoided.
Gear and Companion Choices
For the suggested gear setup, put Overheating on your boots and Untarnished on your gloves. Heavenly Strength on pants adds protection for those close-range moments when you've jumped straight into a dangerous pack. Beru of the Cauldron set charms are another part of the seasonal setup, helping push its elemental effects and burning damage. Subo is a useful companion here. His Molotov, Scorched Earth, and Explosive Charge skills add control and complement the damage over time approach. Raheir works well as reinforcement, with Bastion offering a defensive bubble when an aggressive Teleport leaves you exposed.
Putting It Together
This isn't a build that rewards drifting around the edge of a fight. Watch your ring, keep the Hydras active, and give yourself room to react when an elite attacks. If you're looking to adjust your equipment, U4GM provides a convenient platform for buying game currency and items; you can also browse u4gm D4 items for pieces that suit your setup. Gear is only one part of the picture, though. A clean rotation and a well-placed Firewall will make the build feel far better than rushing into every pack without a plan.
